The Fresh Ayr Festival focuses on the diverse Village of Ayr, showcasing great local entertainment and art. This is our 9th annual festival and our theme is:

“Community - Together We Make A Difference"

Help us celebrate everything that makes Ayr a great place to live – it is a safe, clean community with wonderful people, diverse and growing businesses and a location that boasts a ponds, parks, and swans – to name but a few of Ayr's attributes.

This year we will again host the Youth Art Program. The program date will be announced soon and will be held at the Ayr Arena. We will also be featuring the Youth Art Contest - the work of all contributors will be displayed in the Youth Art tent at the Festival. The winners will be announced at the Festival.

We are also pleased to host the 4th annual Ayr Idol Contest. Singers ages 12-18 start practicing. The preliminary round will be announced later. Finalists will perform at the Festival.

Join us for very popular Art in the Park - an annual outdoor show in the park featuring artists and vendors. Items will include garden art, home decor, original paintings, jewelry, furniture and other unique handcrafted items.

We're also looking for performers for the day. If you are interested in showcasing your talents download the Performer Application Form and submit it to us via email.

In addition, we will start the day off with a Pancake Breakfast, a Fishing Derby, a pet contest, children's events, the Heritage Transport Challenge, being held at Victoria Park, demonstrations, barbecues and much more. The entire family has the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of great events all day long. Admission and parking are free. Please come and join us for a great day of fun for the whole family and stay posted for updates to events and activities.
