Art in the Park

The Fresh Ayr Festival invites you to join us for ART IN THE PARK - an annual outdoor show in the park featuring artists and vendors during the Festival June 18th. Items include garden art, home decor, original paintings, jewelry, furniture and other unique handcrafted items. Admission and parking are free......come out and "walk in the park" for great gift ideas!

Albirg Creations: Real pressed flower cards, 65 towns with more than 5 designs of each (trivets and coasters), watercolours by Birgie, art cards, fridge magnets, special thoughts and some German items too - lots of variety. Prices range from $1-$25. Original paintings more.

 

Annette's Mosaics: Annette Pfohl creates functional mosaics from tiles, broken dishes, stones, bits of glass or mirror. She makes tables, mirrors, flowerpots and decorative wall hangings http://www.annettes-mosaics.com/

 

 

Arnold Shaw: Deciding to pursue a lifelong passion for design and fine furniture, Arnold Shaw and his wife Dorothy (an accomplished artist herself) market their handmade furniture via trade and craft shows. Arnold is constantly adding new items to his inventory.

 

Ayr North Dumfries Lions Club: Matted prints of sketches of historic buildings in Ayr and Paris.

Donna Schaefer: Acrylic and watercolour paintings in vibrant and pastel shades. Traditional and modern styles offer a variety of subjects and choice.

 

 

 

 

Dorcas Schauberger: Woodcarving of birds, caricatures, wood spirits etc. Also Pyrographic art - burning images onto wood.

Ed Kliewer: Marquetry jewellery boxes and pictures. Marquetry is the art of making pictures using different types of exotic and domestic woods. Ed applies the picture to the lid of a jewellery box or frame so it can be used as a wall hanging. Ed also makes coat racks, and candle holders using barn board and railway spikes.

 

Eileen Doolittle: Scenery painted on real maple leaves - mounted and framed.

 

 

 

 

Helene Lejeune: At my table you will find clay birdhouses, bird feeders, butterfly feeders, also an assortment of coasters, napkin holders and plaques. I will also have a nice selection of cement bird feeders, decorative cement leaves and stepping stones. My new passion is making greeting cards for all occasions.

Ina Morschauser: Ina's art consists of oil on canvas, from miniatures to murals, as well as painting on ceramic tiles [oil] floral, scenery, animals, people etc. Ina also has 1 limited edition and several small prints, and pencil sketches that have been made into cards.

Jan Cressman-Weiss: Jan specializes in peaceful woodland landscapes and quiet gardens. Her work brings calmness to your home, creating an aura of tranquility. Many limited edition reproductions, framed and unframed, plus custom framing available. Art lessons in oils and acylics. Will do commissions.

M & M Creations: M & M CREATIONS is a small home based business located in Brunner, ON. We specialize in pine and oak wood items. Our products include outdoor garden items, as well as decorative crafts. They include shelves, shadow boxes, mirrors, etc.
