Heritage Canoe Challenge

Come down to the pond at 3:00 p.m. and watch six teams from local trucking companies vie for the ultimate honour - the Golden Paddle. It promises to be a wildly entertaining conclusion to the Fresh Ayr Festival. Watch the teams as they navigate a challenging course, avoiding obstacles and picking up freight - while being timed.

Teams include: Provider Transportation, Heritage Transportation Services, J&R Hall, Drumbo Transport, Beyond Transportation and Hoss Transportation.

Prizes will be awarded for best decorated canoe and best time. Participant prizes also will be awarded.

Listen as M.C. Les Leck tracks the progress of the competition. Await with anticipation as the times are recorded and watch the celebration as the Golden Paddle is awarded to the winning team. Will last year's winner, Heritage Transportation Services, lose the paddle or will it return to Heritage Transportation services again this year?
