Bike Rodeo
What is the bike rodeo?
Each participant's bike will undergo a thorough inspection to ensure that his or her bicycle is roadworthy for the course. Roadworthy means that the brakes must be working, tires are of suitable quality (not bald/heavily worn), other parts of the bike must be in good working order including the pedals, handlebars, and chain. The bike inspection is followed by a short quiz to test participant knowledge of bike safety and rules of the road. Once the bike inspection and quiz have been completed, the participant must navigate several different obstacles Points are awarded for each event - including inspection & quiz. Total points will determine the winners in each category.
