Art in the Park

The Fresh Ayr Festival invites you to join us for ART IN THE PARK - an annual outdoor show in the park featuring artists and vendors during the Festival. Items include garden art, home decor, original paintings, jewelry, furniture and other unique handcrafted items. Admission and parking are free......come out and "walk in the park" for great gift ideas!

Aromatic Health - Aromatherapy products including a mother and child line, aromatherapeutic line and skin care products. Hand-made, cruelty-free, with natural ingredients.

Riverside Studio

I am excited to be involved in the Fresh Ayr Festival's third year. Once again I'm proud to be able to display my oil paintings in my home-town. I believe the land holds the well to my inspiration. This event gives me the chance to gather and celebrate the creative spirit.

Nith River Studios Pottery - Handcrafted pottery by local potter, Sharon Clayton. A variety of functional and decorative pieces will be on display, custom pieces available upon request. Live demonstrations will be conducted throughout the event.

Silver Galaxy - Sterling silver, magnetic and precious stones, jewellery, decorated hats and caps, as well as handmade sequin shawls and handbags.

McDonald Art - High realism oil paintings and watercolours.

Country Home Candles - Joy candles, tealights and other varieties of candles available.

Blackbird Studios - Fine art drawings, paintings and prints.

Cedarhaus Studios - Paintings by watercolour and pastel as well as original design handcrafted wreaths, boxes and cards.

Cinda Hilton Lund Photography - Specializing in black and white fine art images and portraiture.

Nusha Designs - Nancy designs and makes jewellery in sterling silver and gold including semi-precious gemstones, vintage glass and crystals. Nancy also designs casual tote bags.

Dan Roberts - Dan is the artist in residence at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts. Dan is also the Honourary Patron for the Ayr Public School Art Auction (to support playground renewal) to be held September 30 at the Ayr Arena.

Mehendhi-Village - A talented and trend-setting henna artist from Cambridge, Bhupi Rajput is renowned for her modern designs, which still hold true to the traditional spirit of the East.

Saved From the Trash Crafts - Unique craft ideas made from recycled materials.

Sew What - Quilted and hand sewn items and garments.

Leaf Art by Eileen - Scenery, birds and wildlife handpainted on real maple leaves - mounted and framed.

The Lily of the Valleys: Philana Yang - I was born in Burma and educated in Taiwan where I studied classical Chinese painting under a traditional master. I am interested in painting animals in their natural habitat, depicting the glory of God in nature. I am happy to paint commissions.

Barbara MacDougall - I am basically a self-taught artist with a lifelong interest in the human form, particularly portraiture. I prefer working in black and white in either pencil or charcoal, although I've been playing with oils and etching. I usually draw adults, but lately I've become interested in drawing children. I am looking for commissions which I can do either from life or working from photos.
