Ayr Head Award
In 2003, the Board of Directors of the Fresh Ayr Festival founded the Ayr Head Award. The award is presented annually to an individual, organization, group or team that has made an outstanding contribution to our community. The purpose of this award is to recognize selfless actions that contribute to the betterment of our community.

2004 - Patrick MacNeil
2005 - Tim Barrie
A plaque, donated by Pat Connell, hangs in the Ayr Library to commemorate the winners of the Award. The Award recipient is also given a small trophy to keep.
For the first time, the Board of Directors is soliciting nominations from the community for the Ayr Head Award. If you would like to nominate a deserving person, organization, group or team, please mail written applications to 24 Hall Street, Ayr, ON N0B 1E0 or email us at info@freshayrfestival.com .
