Heritage Canoe Challenge
For the first time in Festival history the Heritage Canoe Challenge is opened to the general public! This year's Challenge is not to be missed.
Gather your friends, family, co-workers, neighbours or sports team and enter this fun filled conclusion to the Fresh Ayr Festival. All you need to enter is 3 willing contestants and a BIG sense of humour! Compete with the likes of the already registered Bayr Naked Ladies, Past There Prime Paddlers, Kapati, Bucky's, 3 Oars in the Water, Curves Diva's, Curvaceous Canoes and Heritage Hype. Come down to Watson Pond at 3:00 p.m. and watch all the teams vie for the ultimate honour - the Golden Paddle. It promises to be a wildly entertaining!
In addition to the chance to win the prestigious Golden Paddle, the top placed team will receive a $75.00 prize! First, second and third prizes are all thanks to the Queens Tavern. Schooltees has also kindly donated t-shirts. All teams will receive participant prizes.
