The Fresh Ayr Festival invites you to join us for ART IN THE PARK - an annual outdoor exhibit in the park featuring artists and crafters. Items for sale include garden art, home decor, original paintings, hand-blown glass, photography, stained glass, marquetry, jewellery, and other unique handcrafted items. Of Earth and Sea - Handmade jewellery from bone, semi-precious stones and shell. We make unique earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Objects from Earth and Sea.

Earth, Soul and Fire Pottery Studio - Formerly known as "Pottery by Janet", I have been creating clay vessels for a number of years, focusing on functional art such as bowls, mugs, goblets and other items. I will also offer a pottery demonstration at the Festival.

Silver Jewellery by Barbara MacDougall - At the 2006 festival Barbara MacDougall was offering portraits (which she still does), however for the past year she has been playing with PMC Silver, having initially been attracted by its potential as a sculptural medium for wearable art, and expanded jewellery-making repertoire being the natural by-product. Along with working in pure silver, she also does hammered wire work, chain mail and Viking knit, incorporating semi-precious stones, cubic zirconiums, Swarovski crystals and quality Czech glass. Barbara takes commissions, and is particularly interested in working with other jewellery designers to provide them with pure silver focal pieces to incorporate into their own designs. www.fuocodeldrago.com

Philana Yang - Philana Yang celebrates the beauty of nature, working in acrylic on canvas, as well as on slate. After applying reduced coloured images to slate, she uses acrylic paints to expand on and blend the applied image onto the slate. She will have original artworks, cards and inexpensive reproductions of her work for sale, as well.
