Our annual Youth Art Contest is open to all youth aged 3 to 18. Over 200 entries compete to win a $200 cash prize for the overall winner sponsored by Riverbank Interiors! There will also be cash prizes, other gifts and ribbons awarded for the winners of each age category. A wide variety of mediums are represented and all of the art is proudly displayed in the Youth Art Tent on Festival day!
Entries can be dropped off at the library on Thursday June 9th from 6pm – 7:30pm and Saturday June 11th 10am – 1pm.
Our esteemed judges are Suzanne Luke – Curator, Robert Langdon Gallery, Wilfrid Laurier University and David Marskell – CEO The Museum, Kitchener. We are thrilled with such prestigious representation for our little art contest!
Winning pieces will be on display at the Ayr Library during July & August.
